The name is the whole point of a personalised Christmas sack. A plain red sack is a bag. A cream sack with "Amelia" printed under a holly wreath is hers, and she will know it from across the room. Every one of our eight Christmas sack designs is personalised with a name, so here is a short guide to getting that name right.
Where the name sits on each design
On most designs the name sits directly under the artwork in a colour that matches it: red under the Tree and Gingerbread, green under the Elf, black under Santa Claus, Summer Santa and Gifts.
Two designs do something different. Christmas Santa Sacks print the name in big red script under "Special delivery for", giving it a North Pole delivery theme. Monogram Wreath uses the first letter of the name as a large initial inside the wreath, with the full name in smaller lettering below. That makes it the one design where the initial carries the look, so it suits a name that starts with a letter you like the shape of.
First name, nickname or surname
For a child's own sack, use the name they answer to. If everyone calls him Benji, "Benjamin" on the sack will look like it belongs to someone else. For a shared family sack, ask us whether your surname or proposed family wording will fit the selected design before ordering.
A note on language
The Christmas Santa Sacks product listing states that this design is offered in English only. Check with us if you need a long name, accents, multiple names or wording beyond a single name; the listings do not specify a universal character allowance.
Check the spelling before you order
It is worth checking carefully before a personalised item is printed. Type the name, then read it back letter by letter, especially for names with more than one accepted spelling: Jaydon and Jayden, Mikayla and Michaela, Rhian and Ryan. A sack is printed to order, so the name you type is the name that arrives.
A stocking to go with it
If you want the name on more than the sack, the personalised Christmas stocking takes a printed name too. The product listing confirms a loop for hanging and describes it as reusable year after year; it does not specify dimensions, so check the size with us if fit matters. It pairs with any of the sack designs for the small gifts and sweets that do not belong in the main bag.
