Personalised Christmas Santa sack with drawstring closure

Choosing a personalised Christmas sack size

Every personalised Christmas sack in our range comes in three sizes: Small at 30 x 40 cm, Medium at 35 x 50 cm and Large at 40 x 60 cm, priced at R250, R350 and R450. Prices and size options were checked on 23 October 2026; confirm your chosen product’s current price before ordering. Here is how to work out which one belongs under your tree.

What the three sizes mean in real life

Small is 30 cm wide and 40 cm tall, which is close to a sheet of A3 paper standing upright. Use these listed dimensions as a starting point, not a guarantee that a particular gift will fit. Measure the wrapped gift, including its depth, and allow room for the bag to close.

Medium is 35 cm wide and 50 cm tall. It is wider and taller than Small, but the listed dimensions do not establish its usable volume. Check the depth of any box as well as its width and height rather than assuming a shoebox will fit.

Large is 40 cm wide and 60 cm tall, the largest listed size. Its flat width multiplied by height is twice that of Small, but that does not mean it holds twice the volume. Measure bulky gifts before choosing it.

Match the sack to the gift pile, not the child

It is tempting to buy by age, but the sack has to fit what goes in it. A ten-year-old who is getting a pair of takkies and a game needs less bag than a four-year-old whose grandparents have gone big. Sort the gifts into piles by child before you order, look at the biggest box in each pile and pick the size that swallows it with a bit of slack for the drawstring to close.

If the sack will be the gift wrap, choose a size up. A sack packed to the brim looks like a sack of laundry. A sack with the gifts sitting loosely inside, drawstring pulled and the name showing, looks like Christmas.

One sack per child, or one for the house

Each sack is personalised with a name, so the usual approach is a sack per child in a design they will recognise as theirs. Siblings can have the same design in different sizes, or different designs in the same size, which keeps the peace on Christmas morning. For a family sack that sits at the foot of the tree and collects everything, measure the combined gift pile and ask us whether your proposed surname or family wording can be accommodated. Monogram Wreath is made for that, with a single initial inside a holly wreath and the name below.

Stockings for the small stuff

If the sack is for the main gifts, a personalised Christmas stocking covers the rest. The stocking listing specifies a printed name and a loop for hanging, and they are made to come out again every year. Sweets, a small toy and the obligatory orange in the toe go in the stocking; the sack takes care of everything else.

Ordering

All eight designs come in the same three sizes at the same prices, so once you have the size, the only decision left is the design. Our guide to choosing a Christmas sack design walks through all eight, and adding a name to a Christmas sack covers what to put on it. Our shipping policy allows five working days for manufacturing before collection or shipping; delivery takes additional time. Check the available service at checkout and current Christmas deadlines.
