Shape and material are separate choices: a circle is a format, while clear and holographic describe a material or visual effect. Use this guide to compare options in the custom sticker range, then check your chosen product's available sizes and finishes.
Circle or rectangle
A circle sticker can suit a round logo or decorative seal. A rectangle can suit a product name, address or several lines of information. Both custom circle and rectangle products accept your own artwork and offer Regular and Laminated options. Confirm the size choices and current price on the product page; the descriptions do not establish the full size range or a universal starting price. Measure the intended surface first.
Square, oval and kiss-cut products are also listed. Check the cut-line arrangements for artwork-shaped stickers; a decorative seal is not a tamper-evident security product.
Regular or laminated vinyl
The circle and rectangle products list vinyl with Regular and Laminated options. Their descriptions make water- and scratch-resistance claims, but do not provide a tested lifespan or a complete comparison of the finishes. Lamination is an added protective layer; confirm the finish for your actual moisture, sunlight and handling conditions rather than assuming every laminated label is dishwasher-safe or every regular label is dry-use-only.
If the use involves water, cold storage, outdoor exposure or repeated cleaning, tell us before ordering so the material can be checked against that use.
When to choose clear stickers
Clear stickers give a translucent result. The product offers circle, oval, square, rectangle and kiss-cut shapes, with optional lamination described as adding protection against scratches, water and sunlight. Check size options and how your artwork will appear on the actual surface; white-ink capability is not confirmed by the description.
Because the surface shows through, check the contrast against your actual container. If your design relies on white areas, ask how those will print before choosing clear material.
Holographic, UV DTF & iron-on
The holographic product describes a rainbow effect that changes with light. UV DTF uses a transfer process for smooth, rigid surfaces without a heat press, leaving a raised design after the top film is removed. Its description names materials such as glass, metal and plastic, but that is not a dishwasher or food-contact certification. Custom iron-on prints are a separate fabric product; check their application instructions rather than treating them as ordinary adhesive stickers.
Which to pick for which job
| Option | Best suited to | Check first |
|---|---|---|
| Circle or rectangle vinyl | Printed branding with a geometric outline | Available size, finish and usable surface |
| Clear | A translucent background | Contrast and any white areas in the design |
| Holographic | A light-catching rainbow effect | How the artwork works with the background |
| UV DTF | A raised transfer on a smooth, rigid item | Material compatibility and cleaning restrictions |
Confirm minimum quantities and sampling arrangements before relying on a test order.
Ordering
The rectangle product explicitly includes a free digital proof; clear, holographic and UV DTF descriptions also mention proof approval. Check the process for your selected product rather than extending one listing's terms to every item. Our rectangle sticker ordering guide explains the steps.
