A faint impression can have several causes, including the pad, ink, die or mechanism. It does not prove that only the pad needs replacing, and a stamp body can wear out too. The Lulu Labels stamp accessories range includes replacement pads, bottled ink, traditional pads and clothing-stamp refills. This guide explains the compatibility checks before buying.
Find the pad code on the stamp
Read the exact model on the stamp body and compare it with the replacement pad's compatibility list. Do not derive a pad code solely from a similar number. For example, the E/20 listing names Printer 20 and Printer C20; E/53 names Printer 53 and Printer 53 Dater; E/60 names Printer 60, Printer C60 and Printer 60 Dater. The E/10 listing names Printer 10, Printer C10, Mini-Dater S120, Mini-Folio S126, Mini-Info S120/W and Mini-Dater S160. If your model is absent or uses a different prefix, ask us to confirm it.
Which pad fits which Lulu Labels stamp
A product category or imprint size is not enough to identify its pad. Marked by, Allergic to and No Known Allergies descriptions specify C20 mechanisms; compare the exact mechanism and ink against the pad listing. Do not assume the same pad fits every teacher, legal or medical stamp. The signature dater is listed as S53 while the E/53 description names Printer 53 and 53 Dater; ask us to confirm that exact pairing before ordering.
Check both physical fit and ink type. A pad that fits a mechanism is not automatically suitable for fabric or a special surface. Check available colours, whether the pad is inked or uninked, and the current price on the selected product. Ask before changing ink types or colours; residual ink on the stamp can affect the result.
Re-ink or replace
The COLOP ink listing describes water-based ink for re-inking foam- or felt-filled pads. That does not establish compatibility with every existing ink, clothing stamp or special-purpose pad. Identify the pad and ink first and follow its instructions; do not add ordinary water-based document ink to a textile pad. If the mechanism, die or pad is damaged, ask for advice rather than assuming a bottle or replacement pad will fix it.
The separate Stamp Pads product is for traditional stamps and is listed in five colours, with an uninked option for special-purpose inks. Check the available pad dimensions against your stamp die and confirm the ink is suitable for the intended surface. Do not assume any special-purpose ink can be used just because the pad is uninked.
The MARKY clothing stamp refill kit
For Lulu Labels' clothing C20 and DIY MARKY stamps, both the Mine Printer 20 two-pack fabric pads and the MARKY refill kit's pad are compatible. This confirmed compatibility is for those clothing stamps, not ordinary C20 document stamps. The MARKY kit adds one metre of iron-on tape and 40 dishwasher-safe labels in two sizes; the two-pack supplies two fabric pads. Follow the tape, label and fabric instructions rather than assuming a full year's life from either refill. Our clothing stamp guide compares the bundles.
Ordering
Before paying, confirm the exact model, pad code, ink type and colour. Send a photo of the model marking if you cannot identify it. Our shipping policy allows five working days for manufacturing before collection or shipping, with delivery additional. Confirm availability and timing for accessories rather than assuming immediate dispatch.
