Round, rectangle or square
A round layout can suit a logo or monogram; a rectangle suits lines of text; a square suits square artwork. For a QR code, choose the layout with us and test the final printed result at its actual size. Stamp shape alone does not guarantee a code will scan or that a stamp is a legal or security seal.
Self-inking mechanisms contain an ink pad, avoiding a separate pad for each impression. The rectangle product describes a positioning window and up to 10,000 impressions, but that is an upper product claim, not a guaranteed pad life or mess-free result. Surface, artwork, ink condition and technique affect the impression.
How much text fits on a rectangle stamp
The rectangle range lists six COLOP models with imprint dimensions and recommended line counts. Consider both when planning your layout:

These are the listing's recommended line counts, not character allowances or a guarantee that any text will fit. Submit the actual wording and artwork for a legibility check at the intended imprint size. Letter length, font and logo detail matter alongside line count; confirm the current model price separately.
For other shapes, check the current model's imprint dimensions on its product page. For QR codes, provide the final code for an actual-size test; do not assume that a particular nominal stamp size guarantees scanning.
A dater is a different stamp
The rectangle dater combines an adjustable date with custom wording. Check its model-specific imprint area, date format and available years before ordering. It is useful when the date must change, rather than for a fixed message alone.
A clothing stamp is different from a document stamp
A document stamp and a clothing stamp have different ink requirements. Our clothing and back-to-school stamp uses black textile ink for suitable light fabrics, applied directly to the garment rather than its care label.
